Updated on December 23, 2013

Do You Decorate Your Bathroom for Christmas?

You can prepare and plan for Christmas and the holiday season all year round! In fact you may be able to find some great deals on holiday decor in the off season!

It's so fun to decorate the house for Christmas! I love decking the halls, and yes that even means decking our bathroom! There are tons of great Christmas bathroom decor items out there, so I thought I'd round some of them up to share. I love decking our bathroom for the holiday season, from candles, to bath towels and of course a toilet cover, and even holiday theme shower curtains, or a door cover! It's so fun and festive to decorate every room in the house, especially if you're entertaining or throwing a holiday party for family and friends!

When Christmas rolls around I like to deck the whole house out like a winter wonderland, including the bathroom! Especially if I'm entertaining. You can too with even a few of the Christmas bathroom decor items I've listed here!

The best part is you don't have to break the bank to make your bathroom into a winter wonderland. You can make small changes like adding holiday theme soaps, or even some Santa hand towels, or Christmas scented candles and make your bathroom a little more festive. It doesn't take much. You can even add a few garage sale finds, like the person in the video included below.

Christmas Bath and Hand Towels

Christmas bath and hand towels are one of the simplest things you can do to add some holiday decor to your bathroom! Just hang a holiday hand towel, or a bath towel with Santa's face on it and it will be a cute touch to your Christmas decor.

A Few Ideas to Help Decorate Your Bathroom Into A Holiday Wonderland

Decking your bathroom for the holiday season doesn't have to be difficult, or expensive. Just add a few holiday touches here and there. If you prefer you can go all out and make your bathroom into a total winter wonderland! But that's strictly up to you! Check out these fun tips and ideas to help you get started:

~ Add red, green or silver accents to your decor if it doesn't clash with your bathroom color.

~ Add some holiday lights to the top of a shelf, and change the items on the shelf to reflect the holiday season.

~ Put up a festive Christmas theme shower curtain, or wrap your toilet with a Christmas toilet cover.

~ One of the simplest ways to get that Christmas spirit in the bathroom, is to add a few holiday embroidered hand towels for guests to wipe their hands on.

~ You can also add small inexpensive Christmas pictures to the wall by framing a couple of your favorite Christmas cards from seasons gone by.

~Holiday scrapbook paper or wrapping paper around a frame to look like packages on the wall are another fun and inexpensive touch you can add to your bathroom during the season. Top it with a bow and you'll definitely be festive.

I decorate the bathroom downstairs if we are staying home and having company. The toilet tattoos are pretty festive! Holiday towels always work but sometimes I forget. Thanks for all of your cheery ideas!

I love decorating the bathrooms for the holidays! I collect snowmen, so it's always fun. My favorite "small" way to decorate so as to not overwhelm people, is to add holiday pump soap dispensers in the bathroom and kitchen, along with a few holiday towels. :) Great job!
