Paper Lanterns

Paper lanterns come in various shapes and sizes,

as well as various methods of construction.

In their simplest form, they are simply a paper bag

with a candle placed inside, although more complicated

lanterns consist of a collapsible bamboo or metal frame

of hoops covered with tough paper.

Big Red, the classic round

mid-size lantern.

Yes! But I love the ones that fly in the sky or float down a stream. As sources of light or decoration, they appeal to me. But not that much :)

I do! I had several at my house down South, and ended up gifting them to a friend who couldn't afford to buy lighting for her place.
