Popular Diy Cool Tools - Laser Level is WAY COOL!
It's not always the best idea to combine useful functions into one tool. In fact, it sometimes very un-cool.
However, when you put two tools together that compliment each other, you have a winner.
For instance, there is a reversible drill chuck that has a pilot drill on one side and a screwdriver on the other. There is no need to have two drills when one can to the job.
The same is true for the tool shown below. It combines the usefulness of a level with the ability to find a stud... very handy when trying to accomplish certain tasks such as hanging a large, heavy picture that has two hangers on the back.
Add the fact that it is small enough to put into a tool belt or pouch, and you have a definite winner.
Does your home improvement list include hanging pictures or shelves? This tool makes easy work of getting them straight, no matter how long the wall is.
What about those heavy pictures that you want to mount on a stud? The built-in stud finder works so you don't have to poke a bunch of holes in your wall. This definitely qualifies as a DIY cool tool!

Bucket Organizers ~ Save Time and Look Like a Pro
Having been a part of the construction environment for much of my life, I was impressed the first time I saw a bucket caddy on one of the construction sites I was working on. I spent much too much time admiring it rather than making one of my own. Back in the day, we made our own tool boxes and such, and this caddy was a homemade job.
Fast forward to the present.. Bucket Tool Caddies are quite handy and inexpensive. Having one makes you look like you know what you are doing, even if you don't know which end of the hammer means business.
In this case, the tool does nothing except keep your other tools where they can be accessed and used much easier. Highly recommended!
Think Pink. Gals OR guys will look trendy and get the job done faster because of this sweet little organizer.
Last, But Certainly Not Least
The impact driver is no longer that new on the DIY scene. The author has had one for about 3 years now.
If I had to make a list of tools that I could not do without, the impact driver would be in the top 5, without question.
While a cordless drill is really very handy, the impact driver is much more efficient for driving or removing screws. Very little effort is required compared to a drill driver. That is really important for an older dude like myself.
Buying a drill/impact driver combination is a no-brainer.
One Tool No DIYer Should Be Without - It's actually a Cool-Tool duo
Everyone knows about the cordless drill, but the impact driver is what makes this a pair of Cool Tools.
Use the cordless drill for normal drilling tasks, but when it comes to Driving, the cordless impact driver surpasses the drill in power and ease.
