Time to make a Snow Cone with the Retro Series Single Snow Cone Maker!

Updated on September 6, 2014

A couple years ago I purchased a Snoopy Sno Cone Machine, I remember how much fun is was to make snow cones as a kid and wanted to relive the magic with my daughter. What I didn't remember was all of the elbow grease required to make just one snow cone. It took about three to four minutes of cranking to make just one and you know how patient a five year old can be while waiting for their frozen treat.

Enter the Retro Series Single Snow Cone Maker, a parents dream for making snow cones for the kiddies. Its electric powered so no hand cranking is needed and can make snow cones in seconds as opposed to Snoopy Sno Cone Machine minutes.

This appliance is very easy to assemble, simply place on a counter or clean work surface close to an outlet. Lift the removable top off of the body and wipe with a clean towel. Once finished put the top back on the base unit and you are ready to go!

Time to make a Snow Cone! Put the Snow Cone Holder in place. The manual recommends setting the ice cubes out until they become clear of frost before putting them in the Snow Cone Maker. You can achieve the same effect by immersing the ice cubes in warm water for a short time then draining. Place four or five clear ice cubes in the ice hopper then install the locking lid and plug the unit in. Finally place a paper cone in the cone holder under the spout. This Snow Cone Maker works similar to a food processor in that twisting the locking lid counter-clockwise energizes the it causing it to make shaved ice. A simple clockwise twist stops the ice shaving process. Its as simple as that!

Add flavoring and you have the perfect snow cone! Once you send the kiddies to bed you can use the Snow Cone Maker to add shaved iced to make the perfect "Adult" beverage. I highly recommend this product and am sure it will bring that same joy to your family as it did mine.
