Cool Drinking Cups for Kids

Updated on November 18, 2014

Children's Drinking Cups

Looking for cups for kids? I have an assortment here with Disney, superheroes, Dora, Transformers, Barbie and more. With four kids, I have had a lot of experience with kids' drinking cups.

I learned early on that instead of just buying cups and putting them in the cupboard, it was much better for each kid to pick out their own children's cup. This way, they wouldn't fight over who got to use which cup.

Even though my kids are getting older now, they still enjoy picking out and using their own cups. Let's explore different cups out there that are good for kids and why letting them pick their own can be important.

Drinking Cups for Kids

Drinking cups can be used as an incentive or reward in different situations. Let's say you have a child that you would like to switch from sippy cups to kids' cups.

Instead of just picking some out by yourself, let the child have a say in it. It will mean so much more to the child to know that he or she had a hand in picking out "big kid" cups.

Allow the purchase of a new cup to be a reward for something special such as getting 100% on a test at school. Need some extra chores done around the house? Once completed, reward the child with picking out a new cup.

Having a kid's party? All too often candy is put into goody bags. Try a new cup as part of the goody bag items.

Baby Sippy Cups for Toddlers

When switching from bottles to cups, most parents begin the transition with sippy cups. What's great about sippy cups is that when a child drops one, it doesn't break and the beverage inside doesn't spill all over the place.

This keeps everything cleaner, not to mention not wasting the beverage inside. They're especially great if you're out and about and your little one gets thirsty.

Kids Sippy Cups

I know how handy these came in for me. You should have at least two of these cups so when one gets dirty, you'll have a clean one handy.
