Easy Cleaning with the Swiffer Duster
Clean Ceiling Fans and Other Hard to Reach Places with Swiffer Duster
Ceiling fan blades, the tops of door frames, kitchen cupboard tops, crevices, and nooks & crannies. What do these things have in common? They are all hard to reach when it comes time to clean and dust. The solution? Easy cleaning of hard to reach places with the Swiffer Duster.
What else is good about the Swiffer Duster? Besides being affordable and easy to use, it's sanitary because the removable duster portion is disposable. So, when it's full of dust, just toss it, and pop on a clean one.
Best of all, it really grabs the dust, rather than just spreading it around!

A Lot of Dust
Gets Picked Up with This Handy Little Item
The Swiffer Duster delivers on its promise. It picks up dust like crazy. Just to prove that point, I left a disposable dusting refills that go on the end for a really long time. I wanted to see a) how long it would keep dusting and b) how much dust it could actually pick up.
See the picture at right for what the dirty one looked like when I took it off. It's shown next to the clean one, for purposes of comparison. That's really dirty! (Pretty disgusting, huh?)
I really got a lot of dusting done with this one cloth, including spots that I had been putting off, like the tops of high things. I also used it under the beds and some other furniture.
Bottom line: The thing works like a charm.

The Swiffer Duster with Extendable Handle - Makes Cleaning Easy
This extendable duster really picks up the dust! I can dispense with the step stool, and stand right on the floor to clean my ceiling fans. It works well to get that nasty dust from high places, like the top of a tall china cabinet or over a door frame.
Don't tell Proctor & Gamble, but I like it better than their Dry Sweeper for getting all the dust bunnies from under the bed.
This little gadget is well worth the money.
Using it with Swiffer Dust & Shine spray, I can get at just about every hard to reach surface and crevice in my house, without climbing or even touching them, and still feel like I've gotten the job done.
I even use mine for cleaning UNDER things... like getting all the dust bunnies from under the bed. Don't tell Proctot & Gamble, but I like it better than the Swiffer Dry Sweeper for this.
Swiffer Duster Starter Set - and Refills
The standard starter set, shown above, comes with three of the disposable refills. For a little more money, though, you can get the starter set shown below, that comes with 20 refills. That's a pretty good deal!
Or, if you just need some Swiffer Duster Refills for your current extension duster, here are a couple of different options.
Do You Agree with Me - about the Swiffer Duster?
I like using the Swiffer Duster because it makes it a lot easier to clean hard to reach places

Yes, I do, and I use one (Or plan to) because . . .
Other Swiffer Products
. . . and My Take on Them
The Swiffer Extendable Duster is, hands down, my favorite Swiffer product. Here are my thoughts on other Swiffer Products that I own, listed in order of my preference.
1 - Swiffer Sweeper used with WET Mopping Cloth. Super light, quick, and easy for light everyday cleaning. Great for my tile floors. But, these wet cloths are REALLY wet, and I don't use them on my pergo.
2 - Swiffer WetJet mop. I like this product, too. Sometimes, however, I feel that, in order to get the kitchen or bath floor really clean, I need to go over the floor once, let it dry, then go over it again. (Especially true if there has been a lot of traffic and I have let the floor go for a few days - am I the only one who does that?) I do use this on both tile and Pergo, but with the all purpose solution for my tile and the wood / laminate solution on my pergo.
3 - Swiffer Sweeper used with the DRY Sweeping Cloth is my least favorite. I hardly ever use my sweeper with the dry cloths.
I have not tried the Swiffer SweeperVac, so can't comment on that particular product.

Other Products from Swiffer - Available on Amazon
I still use one of these - with the wet cloths - for goving the kiitchen a once-over in between thorough cleanings.
This is very handy for a quick mop of the kitchen. It can be used on wood and pergo, too. (There is a special solution that you can buy that won't harm those floors,)
I haven't tried this product yet, but it is certainly on my list.
These come in different scents, and this one is my favorite.
