Electric Food Grater

Updated on March 18, 2012

Electric grater can be a very useful and handy kitchen gadget to have.It will save a lot of time and effort.Although electric graters are great for personal use, they are usually used in restaurants, where people don´t have time to consistently grate cheese, carrots and vegetables all day.Electric graters are great for grating hard cheese, you can also grate hard cheese with a rotary grater. For them electric grater is great. In this article we will review home electric graters, we will also review some heavy-duty electric graters, that are normally not meant for personal use.But if you want, you can use them at home as well.

In this article we will review only high-quality elecrtic graters.

Electric food grater

This electric food grater is equipped with 144 watts of power and can easily grate any type of hard cheese. It´s great for personal use.

This amazing product can slice and grate almost everything - vegetables, fruits, cheese and chocolate.Although it has high built quality and seems to be very durable, it´s not for ice. It´s meant for food. This excellent food grater is also dishwasher safe and can be easily cleaned by hand wash as well. It´s not as small as it may appear, the size is just right, every regularly used vegetable goes into there easily with no problems at all.But if the vegetable is really big, you can always cut it in half and the grate it.

Overall this is a super powerful, fast, safe and easy to clean electric grater for personal use.

Commercial electric grater

These heavy-duty electric graters are extremely useful and time saving for restaurants and for someone who needs a heavy-duty electric grater. These electric graters are perfect for grating cheese, but they can also grate basically everything from vegetables to chocolate.

My restaurant uses the 1.5HP electric hard cheese grater(number three in the list). We are really very happy to have it.This electric cheese grater doesn't mess around. Perfect for high volume restaurants, it works quickly and quietly with great results every time. Not only is this machine tough, it's incredibly safe.Because most of the parts are made from stainless steel, the product is extremely durable, will not rust and will last for many, many years.

But, if you need even more powerful electric grater, you can always buy the 4Hp grater or you can also buy the 5HP super grater, which is extremely powerful.

Choose the electric grater, which fulfills your/restaurant´s needs. And these 5 are the best you can find.I would highly recommend the NR.3 on the list, because I have had a lot of experience with it and I can truly recommend it to any restaurant, who is looking for a professional high-quality electric grater.

Electric grater

This is probably one of the best electric graters out there. It can easily grate any type of cheese and it´s also extremely durable.

This awesome electric grater has a powerful 190 watt unit and 3 safety sensors. Also, it´s made from high-quality materials and it has great craftsmanship. But what I like the most abut it, is that it has 2 different graters included, coarse and fine. Both have their advantages, but the coarse is better for grating cheese usually, it depends which type the cheese is.If you are going to make pizza at home, then it really doesn´t matter that much, but still having to different types of graters can come handy some day.

Overall this is an awesome electric grater, it´s also a very useful one.If you have the money to buy it, then go ahead, it´s a wonderful product from Italy.
