portable hammock - great Father's Day gift idea

Looking for a more comfortable beach chair or backyard chair? This portable hammock transports easily and sets up in minutes. It transports as easy as a backpack beach chair; the entire thing fits into its included bag and straps onto your back so you can be hands free. The steel frame is all one piece and accordion-style which unfolds simply and there’s no assembly required for set up. It will comfortably accommodate a person up to 6’4” tall.

Although a portable hammock would be loved by almost anyone, consider this as a great gift for the man in your life – be it your boyfriend, husband, son, brother or dad; it may even make a great father’s day gift.

Portable Hammocks Available at Amazon:

If you have a smaller size back yard this would be the ideal relaxing retreat to sit and relax, read a book, watch the kids play – but when it’s not in use or you or the kids need more space to play, simply fold it up and put it aside.

I for one would prefer this type of a hammock to the type that you have to attach somewhere, like to a tree, because I always fear that it may fall. These hammocks have sturdy steel construction that sits on the ground, so no fall worries!

If you prefer to buy a traditional hammock that you tie to a tree or other structure, then Amazon has plenty more options available to you, including the largest portable hammock on earth.  See the links below to check 'em out.

Whichever you decide to go with, you're sure to not be disappointed.  There's nothing more serene than relaxing in a hammock; it's as close as an adult can get to the peaceful feeling of being in a womb!

Lily Rose, I think hammocks are very cool. I lost my Dad unexpectedly to a heart attack and well just wanted to say great hub for fathers day gifts. I know my Dad would love it, so for all you folks out there that have a Dad around please honor him! Peace:)

Hey, Don! Yes, that's why I like that one so much, too - because you probably won't get injured if you fall out. That's one thing that has always made me hesitant about hammocks - the potential for injury. But then, the potential is there with everything, right?!

Hey, Lily Rose. That particular hammock pictured at the start of this hub would be ideal. Some of them give back aches if I stay in them too long. That one is close to the ground and I could sleep and not injure myself if I fell out. Thanks, Lily.
