Water Jogger for Water Aerobics and Fun!
One of the best -- absolute best items we have for the swimming pool was a little device called a Water Jogger. Water aerobics with the Water Jogger are a breeze and there are so many different things you can do, it doesn't feel like a workout. It just feels like fun!
If you're going to splash around in the pool this year anyway (like me), why not make it more safe and fun! If you don't completely avoid it, you could even get some water aerobic exercise too!
Let me show you my Water Jogger and tell you what you can do with it to increase your fun and exercise in the pool. Then you can decide!

Our Water Jogger is so old, they don't even make the yellow color anymore! We use the heck out of it in the pool every year. Floating has never been more easy or relaxing and water aerobics? Just feels like having fun in the pool!

Fun and Exercise
Swimming is an all over body exercise. It can increase the strength of your core as well as help define arm and leg muscles.
Arthritis in joints can hinder people from the normal swimming motion. The Water Jogger can help because it is zero impact -- you float as you jog. It can also help isolate certain muscle groups for you to workout while floating.
The zero impact device can be straddled, leaned on with your front or back or placed at your high waist to work on certain muscles. Water jogging also causes a moderate to high expenditure of calories. This is great news for someone want to lose weight or tone up!

Doctors Recommend Water Workouts for some Patients
Because water at least partially supports you, some doctors recommend water workouts for people with joint injuries or recovering from surgeries. Being active in the water can help you get fit and shorten recovery time.
Water workouts can also aid some chronic condition sufferers like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.
You should never start any fitness regime without first checking with your doctor. It's common sense and much safer to have a physician's approval.

I love to float around the pool on the Water Jogger. No more silly rubber rafts that you can't get on or stay on! With the Water Jogger I place it under my arms in front or back and float to my heart's content!
Water is a wonderful fitness tool. Yes, just like a barbell is a fitness tool.
Water offers resistance for strengthening muscles, is a cardio aerobic workout and since it supports some of your weight, it puts less stress on joints than traditional workouts.
Fun You Can Have with Water Jogger - Water Aerobics and More!
Below are a list of activities you can do using the Water Jogger!
- Can strengthen your legs and abdominal muscles -- Place under your arms and flutter kick while lying on your front
- Can strengthen legs and abdominal muscles -- Place under your shoulders and flutter kick while lying back
- Place your head in the notch and float on your back
- Place under your arms and float
- Place at your high waist and use only your arms in an alternative breast stroke action (head above water) for isometric arm exercises working biceps, triceps and forearm muscles
- Can strengthen legs and abdominal muscles -- Place head in notch and flutter kick
- Place Water Jogger between your legs and use as you would a saddle or bicycle to hold you up while you water jog. Works all major muscles in the leg as well as the abdomen.
