Garden Decorations: Arches, Statues, Planters, Birdbaths, Figurines, And Other Garden Decor

Updated on August 22, 2014

Add A Beautiful Or Interesting Focal Point To Your Garden

These garden decorations will brighten up your garden, porch or patio! They give your garden a focal point - something that catches your eye and holds your gaze for a moment.

Many of these garden decorations are more than just decorations; they serve a purpose. Birdbaths can be pretty, and provide water for the birds at the same time! Garden animal figurines, such as owls or snakes, can help scare away the birds from your vegetable garden.

On this page, you'll find herons, egrets, and other animal figurines/statues, angel statues to watch over you and your garden, cute garden stakes, interesting and decorative planters, arches and gates, birdbaths, and more! What would look nice in your garden?

Note: This webpage is moving to a new home. Please pardon any mess that may result in the move… You know. Plaster falling from the ceiling.. That sort of thing. I’ll come in and tidy it up asap.

Garden Arches and Gates

For creating inviting walkways and enticing you into the garden!

Look at the beauty and detail of this black, steel, Westminster Garden Arch! If desired, you can train your vines to grow through the arch by weaving them in and out of the bars. The legs of this arch are staked into the ground to support it.

Creating Focal Points in a Perennial Garden

Garden Animal Statues / Figurines

Add charm and a focal point to your garden with these garden animal figurines! Some types have the added benefit of discouraging rodents and birds from eating your plants.

Did you know that herons carry symbolism in many different cultures? Herons represent strength, purity, a long life, patience, wisdom, good judgment skills, going with the flow, fertility, wealth, communication with God, and are often considered to be a good omen.

16-Inch Molded Owl For The Garden - This garden decoration doubles as an "owl scarecrow!"

Having an owl scarecrow near your vegetable garden helps repels birds and rodents so they won't eat your vegetables before you can! This garden sculpture is made of sturdy, molded plastic and is hand-painted.

Wouldn't one of these be adorable in your garden? The deer and the single bunny are my favorites.

Decorative Planters For The Garden

Decorative planters for the yard - Perfect for showcasing flowers and creating seasonal displays!

I think decorative planters add a lot to yard or garden. Of course, you don't want to overdue it! Just a single planter in a nice location is probably all you need unless you have a large garden.

Birdbaths

Birdbaths for Your Garden - Birdbirds add beauty to your garden and provide the birds with water too!

There are several different types of birdbaths. Birdbaths can lay on the ground, rest on a pedestal, or hang (from a tree, a gutter, a garden hook, etc).

Bird baths with fountains of moving water are great for attracting birds, as well as adding more human appeal to your landscape. There are several different methods of creating fountains, including a spray, bubbler, and gravity-powered dripping fountain.

Heated birdbaths are an excellent choice for colder areas, as they keep the water from freezing in the winter.

Hanging Birdbath

Birdbaths and birdfeeders not only feed and provide water for the birds, they also attract birds and add interest in the garden!

A selection of whimsical to formal. Good ideas to stir another person's imagination on what will work for their yard or garden.

One thing I have found to be a great addition to my garden is the Saint statues. These tend to add beauty and a sense of religion to my garden.

Great garden decoration ideas - I really like those bicycles in which you can put flowers. These decorations somehow make the garden alive but I think people shouldn't overreact with it. Sometimes I see too many of these decorations and it simply ruins the spirit of a wonderful garden - too bad.

But anyway, this lens is superb, you did a great job creating it! :)

I would like most of these -- if only I had a garden worthy of them. Since I started writing I haven't had much time to maintain my garden.

I love the pink flamingos and the heron. Weird combination, but it works for me. :)

I want the Amish wagon planter. I already have multiple pink flamingos and gnomes in my flower beds.

I could totally go for that Amish wagon in my garden!

Not too sure about the frogs on a slide though. We have friends with so many figures in their yard that we call them "the critter people." Actually kids love seeing that yard.

I can do without the rattlesnake, but I love the angel birdbath. Nice lens.
