Did you get an invite to the the Royal Wedding. When mum asked me if I would like to attend the royal wedding Garden party, I jumped at the chance. I had been requested to be present at 9am 29th April, Pittenweem....as I conjured up meeting the rich and famous in celebration of the lovely couple, practicing my courtesy, wait where.... where...my mums back garden!

ah well....I am still pretty excited, and my mum was going all out, no expense was spared here, (as long as I found the decorations cheaply!) we had to dress as we would to attend a Wedding, and we started off the day at 9am, serving champagne breakfast. and watch the wedding on the TV. Dressed to the nines with hats too.

So my mum has asked me to help her decorate the Garden fit for a Royal Wedding. Well how could I resist, so I am going to share my findings for decoration ideas for having a Royal Wedding

Sounds like you had a fun time. The wedding was at 3 AM my time, but I watched it. My city is named for Queen Victoria, and has a lot of British people here. There were quite a few Royal wedding parties here.

Glad you had fun celebrating the Royal wedding, Lisa. I enjoyed watching Royal wedding videos on YouTube - Kate is gorgeous, smart, and has great manners - born to be a princess :)

I didn't get a chance to watch the Royal Wedding live but did watch it during the many repeats on TV and online. They look like a cute couple & I thought that it was nice that the world focused on a good news event instead of the normal stuff.

I love the decorations especially the coaster with "Don't Panic There is Still One Prince Left" it's so funny. Enjoyed myself while I was here & will be back.

What a beautiful couple! The whole world is agog. I wish them every happiness, but I'm not sure I'll be up at the crack of dawn to see the ceremony!

Just another day for me, but my brit hubby keeps threatening to hold a party to celebrate (he mocks my "I want a Republic" attitude lol). Fun decorations, but not letting him see them, might give him ideas!

This truly is a big event for you Brits isn't it? I saw watched everything about Princess Diana since the day she married Charles, I will probably watch everything about these two also.

Wow! I would be so flustered that nothing would get done. The items you showed are cool.

Although monarchist, that our respective royal families are of the same family; and that I know how much Brits love their Royal Family, I'm not really interested in the royal wedding. However, I enjoyed your ideas to plan a royal wedding garden party, lol.

By the way, I wish you lots of fun with the party you're going to attend.
