Kitchen Faucet Enhances Overall Look

Updated on May 8, 2014

I really love my new kitchen faucet and sink! I didn't start out planning to replace our stainless steel sink, in fact all I was really looking to do was get a new kitchen floor. Our old floor was really getting worn and we decided we needed a new tile floor. We went out to look at tiles and somehow started looking at countertops too! My husband said we really should update our countertops. We decided that the quartz countertops would really set off our kitchen.

As I was looking at the model kitchens in the showroom, I noticed all the undermount sinks and started to investigate what was all out there. One product that kept coming up was the silgranit sinks. They look great all the time and won't stain or scratch. I knew that was what I wanted but now what should I do for a faucet? I didn't want to have my old stainless steel faucet and we had not yet picked out a light fixture so I wasn't sure what metal I wanted to use.

Seeing my dilemma the salesman suggested that I get a faucet to match my sink. He showed me the biscotti colored matching faucet and it looked great. It has a solid brass body and a flexible pull out spray.

I have used the new faucet for a week now and I love everything about it. The pull out spray comes out very smoothly and makes it easy to clean out the sink. It is so convenient and it really works well with our new countertops. You can see in the photo below that our countertops have flakes of the biscotti color in them too. I wouldn't have thought that a small detail like a faucet could make such a big difference.

So my tile floor turned into a major kitchen overhaul and everything is new and up to date. I am so happy with my new kitchen. It makes it fun to cook!

My brother completely remodeled his kitchen last Fall and I can see what a difference it makes when everything (including the kitchen sink) coordinates and compliments each other. Love your new look. :)

Your counter and faucet look lovely. We also did a reno last spring and have a tap with a pull out faucet somewhat like yours but in stainless.

Funny how we tend to simply take our faucets for granted, but they can really make a huge difference in the productivity and the appearance of our kitchens. Your new faucet looks like the perfect companion for your counter tops! I know you are proud of your new kitchen. Beautiful!
