Home Decor for the Horse Lover

Beauty; the flowing mane, running in the wind, jumping, the freedom to enjoy every minute of their lives.

Strength and Power: The rearing stallions challenging each other to a duel,

Untamed, Wild and Free; though some seem to be "tamed" by mankind, it is only by their "will" that they do so as they have so much strength and power. To have shared the love of a horse is truly a gift you will never forget,

Memories; Once given the gift of a horses love they will stay in your heart forever.

Speed, Agility; To watch them move is just incredible, such speed, such agility, the seemingly float on air.

We have put together an assortment of horse statues from many different artist.

Which will you choose to represent you?

Horses Running Wild Statue

I love watching horses running free and wild. Their manes and tails blowing in the wind, they have a love of running like no other animal. To watch them run gives one pleasure in their very soul. Beautiful statue.

There is beauty in the movement of the horse

There is beauty in the way a horse moves like no other animal I know. Maybe it is my love of the horse that makes me believe this is so, but it is the way they move so gracefully, with what seems like such little effort.

The clip clop of their shoes on hard ground, the pounding of their hooves on the dirt. The way their muscles contract to move them so quickly over the ground.

Perhaps it is the way they seem to love to run.

If you have ever watched a horse before a storm, they seem to come alive with the excitement of it. Tails thrown up, energized with the very nature of the storm.

I truly believe the horse is connected with the universe so intimately.

Did you know?

The average horse can run 25 to 30 mph for a distance of one or two miles before needing a bit of a rest. The fastest horse over short distances however is the quarter horse. They have been clocked up to 55 mph, I love to watch them fly across the ground.

There is nothing like the love of a mother for it's child in all animals in the world. This is just beautiful with the mare looking down at her foal. Love the wobbly legs of a foals first stand too.

Can you imagine...

I think woman will appreciate this fact, the mother horse, the mare carries that foal just twenty five days short of one year...That is three hundred and forty days long, can you even imagine?

Another crazy thing about horses

They say a mare can be ridden during the first part of her pregnancy. Just in the later months should it be only in moderation.

For a mother, this thought is just crazy. When your body is already supporting a developing child inside, someone wanting to strap on more weight to a human mother, might well think that through one more time. The feeling we have of wanting to protect our young, is strong from conception.

The height of a Rearing Stallion is intimidating and so beautifully powerful.

Why they rear up...

I believe that horses have a natural instinct to rear up in response to the flight or fight syndrome. The naturally rear up to fight in the wild. How many times we have seen photos of stallions challenging each other standing up on their back legs. It is a natural thing they do. Mare will also do it when fighting.

My experience on horseback, when my horse reared up it was in response to being startled and wanting to run.

Though I once has a two year old that would rear up when he threw a fit about something and actually toss himself over onto his back. Frightening for a future rider of that naughty horse.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, I really appreciate you! Please drop a note below so that I know you were here.

Thank you,

Thank you!
