Marilyn Monroe Bathroom Décor and Products

Updated on July 19, 2013

Dress up your bathroom with Marilyn!

Looking for Marilyn Monroe bathroom décor and products? This theme will easily turn out to be very girly. The colors would probably be pink and black but you could add other colors like white, purple, etc that would look great also. I will feature some basic décor items along with some wall art, towels, and accessories that fit the theme. This page is here to give you ideas and help you along with your project. If you are a fan of hers, enjoy an old Hollywood, girly, elegant feel, or just want to create a unique glamorous look, this theme may be for you!

P.S. Don't forget to take the poll before you leave (it's right below!) and leave a comment if you wish. I love to see what my visitors think so it helps me help you better. Thanks! I hope this page will be helpful to you.

Shower Curtain

Everyone will know how much you love Marilyn when they see this Marilyn Monroe shower curtain! Not your style? Check out the curtain below.

Wall Art

What better than a picture of Marilyn herself taking a bath as a decoration in your new space? It definitely brings the room together and makes me feel girly and glamorous! Some people also choose a quote to put on their wall. I love either one, or both, depending on the size and look of the room.

All of those extras that you might want that happen to be MM themed are here. Soap containers, a tumbler, and a tissue box.

Be creative!

Just a quick decorating idea...

Make a light switch cover with your favorite photo on it. Visit this page to learn how to make your own. If you need a picture you could try cutting one out from a magazine or using an old calendar. This could be done for any room in the house. If you don't want to do that, you could always order one like the one on the right. I picked this one out because she is on the beach, which would look good in a bathroom. You could also use old calendar pictures to frame on the wall. I always keep my old calendars for things like this because the photos are always very nice for decorating. I have a lot of my old calendars just waiting to be used for a project.

Options, Options, Options!

Stay warm after showering with this pretty pink and black robe. It has a picture of her face on the back! Pink and black, pink and black!

Great for getting out of the tub or shower! These are really comfortable and cozy for keeping your feet warm in the winter.

What else can you do...

...after you are done with your themed items.

There aren't many Marilyn Monroe bathroom products (I wish there were more!), so you have to start being creative! Match your items with simple things a black rug. Most things for a MM bathroom are black or pink - so match how you wish! Use white, black, pink, or even purple! You could even paint your walls a pretty color and add sparkles for an extra girly look! Whatever you like! My room is trimmed in white and the walls are painted black. Sparkles are added to the walls for that extra girly look. If you want to add glitter to your walls just mix some in with the paint. Make sure the glitter is very evenly mixed. The black and white look great with the splashes of pink mixed in. I have some black and white photos of her featured on the wall as well. I like the old hollywood, vintage feel of the black and white.

Examples and Ideas

Check out these videos of other people that have a room like this. It might give you an idea that isn't here and just get you excited for creating your own! I love the glitter!

I hope your room turns out great and just the way you like. Let me know if you are doing your bathroom this theme and what your opinions are! I would love to know what you think!

Hello there, I just wanted to say your arcltie if god exists and the reasons why we should believe in god was really fascinating, and the only reason why is because I waked a similar path to yours,I was an atheist as well after years of believing in god and Jesus blindly, and then I was lucky I geuss ,my intelligence grew and I became really insightful in the whole matter of gods existence, and then I met a friend who had a similar mind to mine ,however the funny part was he was an atheist and I was worshiper so weeks and months went by with back and to forth arguments and debates about the whole matter. And he then introduced me to howkins and other atheists with strong theory and that's when I first became an atheist. However after months went by and me and my friend Hasan just felt sorry for people's hopes that were ilusional, but then I started to think differently I did not agree with science and their theory's and so I begun creating mine which explained why atheists choose not to believe in god and why god can still exist when science explains the flaws of the bible and other religious books.

Very interesting lens on one of America's true icons. Having read several articles on Marilyn Monroe and seeing a few of her movies, I can understand how she caught the attention of America as a Hollywood starlet and sexy symbol.

Mr. Hugh Hefner said that "Marilyn Monroe was his favorite Playmate...wish is understandable when you find out that she was featured in the first edition of Playboy Magazine that hit the newstands in 1953 when I was just a toddler.

The Marilyn Monroe bathroom décor is timeless and an excellent way to remenience about the glamourous era of Hollywood in the 1950s.

I don't have a MM decorated bathroom, but these are some interesting ideas on how someone could decorate! I didn't know they had so many products with her image!
