Military Airplane Propellor Ceiling Fans

Updated on November 12, 2014

Soaring in from a ceiling near you

Warbird fans rejoice! Whether a military history buff or just an airplane fan, these ceiling fans replicate some of the classic looks of the warbirds of World War II. Patterned after the noses of the most popular planes with propellor-styles blades to boot. A great addition to your den or bedroom!

So - how to pick? Well, any would work in a general military room, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First color - if you're going with mostly blue, you might not want the Sopwith Camel since it's green. If you want to stick with American military, the Sopwith again wouldn't work as it's from the Royal air force.

My personal favorite is definitely the Tiger Shark pictured here, and I would think any boy would love that one as well. The dark colors work well as a neutral with almost any color scheme, but definitely if you're focusing on camo or olive drab.
