Gayle has been a gardener at home and professionally for more than 30 years. She quickly adapted her garden space using pallets!

Upcycling Row by Row

While researching ideas for my vegetable garden I came across an idea which would help to keep my garden rows neat and take care of some of the clutter in our garage and a good portion of aged kitchen and yard compost.

A previous tenant had left behind a large pile of wooden pallets that were taking up valuable space. We had been planning a vegetable garden and were not looking forward to all of the back-breaking diggings and turning over the soil of the space. The idea of laying out the pallets and filling the rows with compost sounded like a great plan.

And it was! Upcycling these unwanted pallets quickly transformed our garden.

Please enjoy the following videos and resources which will cover a few strategies for your pallet garden.

Note: Please take care that your pallets have not been treated with chemicals that may affect your garden plants or your health.
