Poufs

Updated on January 27, 2015

Moroccan Poufs, Pouffes and Poofs

I am loving poufs so much!

And just to be perfectly clear, get Snookie out of your mind ... we are NOT talking hair here.

So... just what exactly is a pouf?

A pouf is a fluffy ottoman, it has an almost marshmallow like quality. A bit stubby in stature and but filled with an endless amount of personality & fun, a pleasure to have for any room. They are lovely and you will want to put them all over your house.

Lightweight and portable, poufs are seats, foot stools or small tables. But most of all poufs are a decorating dream come true. The ability to add a splash of color or maybe some cool texture just by plopping a pouf in the room.

So what makes a pouf poufy?

It is the stitching and it's shape. Think of a sea urchin or a mushroom cap, kinda plump and filled with yummy softness. All credit goes to the Moroccans for the wonderful pouf, they have been using them for years. And the traditional pouf still has that cool Moroccan flavor.

They are so addicting and fun that you can add that special touch to any room with a simple little pouf. It almost seems magical. Poufs are EYE Candy for any room and are available in all colors, materials and glitz. There is definitely a poof for everyone. Poufs add extra seating to a room or even extra table space or a place to put your feet up, their versatility is endless but the best part of all is their fun is enormous. A pouf can really brighten and light up a room. They are the cool in stool.

Let me take on you a tour to open your eyes to the wonderful world of poufs.

Just so you know....."Poof" is a derogatory term for a gay man in the UK.

I love the poufs. I currently don't own one. There is no room to put it. Love your lens!

@gradientcat: They are comfortable but the best thing is what they do to a room. Just add that special touch. Thanks for visiting!
