Seashell Bathroom Ideas
Add a Little of the Beach to Your Bathroom
If you're like me, and you love hanging out on the beach, why not bring a little of that into your house? I decided I'd love to have a beach sea shell theme bathroom, so I could bring some of my favorite beach elements indoors.
I put together some of my favorite seashell bathroom ideas, and accessories to share here. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed pulling them all together in one place.
Seashell Toilet Seats
My in laws bought a sea shell toilet cover while they were in Florida one year. It was a fabulous touch to their bathroom! There are some truly beautiful seashell toilet seats, if a toilet seat can be beautiful! Check out these sea shell toilet seats I found at Amazon.
This toilet seat would make a great neutral choice for your bathroom.
Seashell Bathroom Accessories
You don't have to go all out, you can just add a few sea shell accessories to your bathroom to give it that beach feel. Try adding sea shells to your soap dish, your trash can, or maybe just place some sea shells in the corner of your sink.
Seashell Soap Dishes
Another great simple touch you can add to your bathroom to give it that beach feel.
Seashell Shower Curtains
This is a fun way to add the ocean or sea shells to your bathroom. You can change out your shower curtain over time to change the atmosphere.
Natural Seashells Work Great In Your Bathroom Decor
You can add a touch of the beach to your bathroom, without ever purchasing a thing. When you're out walking along the beach on your next vacation pick up an assortment of seashells and maybe even some sand to use in your seashell or beach theme bathroom. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
~ Add seashells to a jar to display on a shelf in your bathroom.
~ Use a larger seashell for a soap dish.
~ Make ties for your shower curtain and bead on a shell or two onto the ties.
~ Put a few larger shells with some sand dollars in a basket to display in a corner of your tub, or on a shelf.
~ Use small shells or sand and some glue to make a picture, then frame it for the wall.
