That attests to its popularity, reliability and greatness. It will clear 10 inches deep, no problem. I've cleared snow over 18 inches deep, no problem. Yard Machines 21-Inch Gas Powered Snow Thrower With Electric Start

The Yard Machines 21-Inch 179cc OHV 4-Cycle Gas Powered Single Stage Snow Thrower With Electric Start (Non-CARB Compliant) is great for moving snow. This snow thrower is recommended for smaller areas such as sidewalks, patios or small driveways with light snowfall. This snow thrower is equipped with a 21-inch deck and has a loop handle.

"This is my 3rd snow blower. It is very well designed and easy to operate. It starts easily with or without the electric start once you find the right settings of the choke and primer. Two days after I purchased it we had 3.5 inches of snow here in Oshkosh Wisconsin. I was surprised to find that the rotating blade pulls the snow blower forward at a slow speed in heavier snow and very fast in light snow. It is light enough to run up a light ramp into my van for use in other places. With a two year warranty I purchased it on sale for $400.00. Even in heavier snow it throws it 20 to 30 feet with no bogging down. I am very pleased."

I need all my fingers to count to ten, so I prefer a shovel. I let hubby use the snow blower.

Murray 21-Inch 4-Cycle Gas Powered Single Stage Snow Thrower

"Absolutely Recommended! Ordered on Thursday and paid the extra cost of $3.XX for next day delivery because we had a huge snow storm in the forecast. The snow blower and the storm arrived the next day and the snow blower was really needed. It was very easy to unpack--open carton, remove cardboard and plastic bag, extend handle, add oil (came with it) and gas (remember to buy ahead of time). It started the first pull of the crank and worked hard for two days! It used four tanks of gas doing my neighbor's driveway and mine plus helping many other neighbors dig out from over 34 inches of snow and the build up caused by the snow plows that came through. It's only rated for 4-6 inches but by knocking down the snow with a shovel and working at it with the blower we got thru a build-up of snow that exceeded 3 feet in spots (over the top of the engine on the snow blower). Really glad we ordered. "
