If You Live Near the Beach or Have Active Kids, A Handheld Vacuum Can Be Extremely Useful!

I live near the beach and I constantly have to vacuum up the sand that drops from our shoes, swimsuits and jeans. Having a handheld vacuum is so convenient!

You Don't Need to Haul Out Your Big Vacuum for Every Little Mess!

Since I have ceramic tile in my kitchen, it has has always been difficult to clean up small messes like the bread crumbs, flour, and debris which seems to find its way to the floor after our family has dinner. I tried for years to sweep the kitchen floor after meals; however, all a broom would do was push the crumbs and dirt into the cracks between the tiles.

The same thing would happen whenever we went to the beach. Even though we brushed ourselves off before entering the house, sand still seemed to find its way to the floor.

Eventually, I purchased a cordless Black & Decker Dustbuster and discovered it is perfect for small clean-ups ... not just in the kitchen, but all over the house.

One of the reasons I like my Dustbuster is that it is small and I can keep it charged in a convenient location in the kitchen. It is always within arm's reach.

I have used it to vacuum up all types of messes ... spilled dry cereal, scraps of paper that overflowed from my paper shredder, broken crackers that our grandchildren left on the sofa, sand, dried pet food that spilled, leaves that were tracked into the house and so much more.

It is especially helpful when someone breaks a glass. First, I pick up the large pieces. Next, I use my Dustbuster to pick up the smaller items that are hard to see. Finally, I go over the area with a damp paper towel to pick up anything which I might have missed. I'm sure this process has prevented many a cut foot in my home.

Because it is cordless, my Dustbuster is also handy for quickly vacuuming out my car. While it is not as powerful as the big commercial vacuums which are used at the car wash, it is adequate for most of the dirt that gets on the floor of my car.

It is much more versatile than a broom and dustpan, especially when you just have a quick mess to clean up. In some cases, it works even better than a broom and dustpan.

I appreciate that this vacuum comes with both brush and crevice accessories which make it easy to suck up dirt in corners and other hard to reach spots.

It only weighs about three pounds, which makes it effortless to handle. I also like the fact that it is a bagless vacuum. You simple empty the clear dirt bowl directly into the trash can and you are ready to go. The filter is also easy to wash off, so you know your Dustbuster has been thoroughly cleaned between uses. The charger is designed so it can be mounted on a wall or flat surface ... whichever is most convenient for you. I keep mine on the kitchen counter, tucked beside the refrigerator. If you hang it on a wall, you need to make sure there is an electric outlet close enough to keep the charger plugged in.

If you are looking for an easy way to deal with spills and messes, I highly recommend the Black & Decker Dustbuster. I've had mine for about eight years, without a problem.

This Dustbuster is one of the handiest appliances I keep in my kitchen. Spilled sugar on the floor? No problem!
