The Tall Patio Table Set

Tall Patio Furniture
While sitting on the patio. I really prefer having a table and stools that are at 'bar height' just for that reason. If you are short, I can understand why you might not want the extra height, but for men and women who have long legs, it is just plain nice.
Being able to lend back on your stool is a simple pleasure that I really enjoy. Being able to share with a friend or a morning newspaper, this is the perfect size for a corner of your patio.
Another way of looking at it is that this is an adult table. Sometimes, you just need to escape the children from always being in your face. They cannot do that while you are sitting at a tall table. Perhaps, you like to imagine that you are at your favorite dance club, waiting for your love to rejoin you with a tall cool drink before your hit the dance floor. Since the music playing are your favorites, why not relax and enjoy the evening on your patio.
On a large patio, we have often used several of these tables. There are great for late night gatherings after an evening with friends downtown. People can gather in twos or threes, each table having its own characteristics of conversations. Tall tables are great equalizers as well. Those who are shorter can find a perch on a stool while others stand or lend on the tables.

My Favorite Tall Dining Table - with Tall Patio Chairs

This tall long and lanky dining table is perfect for small intimate dining on your patio. There is enough room for the two of you to share a glass of wine or ice tea without all the fuss of setting a big table. Imagine watching the sun set over the hill line and the beautiful sunsets that are waiting for you.
By giving yourself extra leg room, you and your sweetie play footsie under the table without being tangled up with short legs of the table or stools. The height is nice even if you just lend on the table as you share a conversation with friends who are spending the evening with you. These are really one of the nicest additions to the patio that you can make.
The one that is pictured is one of my favorites. I love the color and texture of the wood. Rest assure that as the wood ages, it will get better looking than the handsome table it already is. The table is available in the light oak or a darker rustic shade with matching tall stools. So whatever you want, it is waiting for you.
Small Tall Table - - Nice for Lunch
Life does not have to be filled with large, expensive things. Sometimes surprises are very nice and come in just the right size!
It is pleasant to take a 'light lunch' outside with a friend or soul mate and sit at your tall table. If the sun is warm, a nice off-set umbrella will fill the bill. This gives shade to the table, your sitting space and the area around the sitting. Just enjoyable from the beginning to the end of your quiet time outside.
Tall Bistro Sets

It is always nice to have table and chairs or stools to match. It is doubly important when you are using an unusual piece of furniture. A tall table is not your every day type of table. Your outdoor setting is greatly enhanced when you use your sense of style and beauty.
The other unspoken rule regarding furniture (one that is often forgotten by some designers) is that furniture needs to be comfortable as well as beautiful. When buying on line, read the reviews and after you have purchased something, do be a friend and review the item. If you do not like say so and state why you did not like. But if you liked it, tell people that you do and why. Also give tips on how you are using the product.
In the case of a tall patio table, how will you use it? I used ours for early cups of tea or a Sunday brunch and late night glasses of wine with my husband. The table was quiet and out of the way from the house and, more importantly, away from the phone. So our small get aways were private and, well, let me say, nice.

Sitting at Your Table Early Morning
One of the nicest thing I love doing, is sitting at a tall patio table with a cup of tea, watching the sun come up. The only problem with that is that some mornings get fairly chilly. So the answer that we found was tall patio heaters situated close to the tall table. This way, I can enjoy my morning tea, watch the sun come up and be warm, while still being outside.
I often go outside before the break of dawn, light the heater and settle back in the tall chair, my feet perched on the railing of the table. My cup of steaming tea is great company as the warm air surrounds my chair. I know that all is right with the world and I wait eagerly for the first streaks of sunlight to grace the sky.
The stillness of the night air is broken with the first sounds of birds awaken by the light of the early light which coaxes the early songs of song birds. The beautiful hummingbirds hover around the feeders that we have hanging around the back of the house. Their busy, death-defying maneuvers makes my heart sing as I watch their wonderful flight abilities. I so enjoy watching them as they break their long night of rest with the most critical first food at dawn. They swirl and dance around each other, jockeying for position on the feeders that catch the first rays of light. That way, they are catching a little warmth as well as food.

Nice article, but where can you buy tall patio bistro sets? I can't find any really tall ones in Dallas.

Now i need only a glass of good wine and some nice company:)
Nicely done; enjoyed your thoughts about tall patio tables.
Very pretty.
Awesome ideas...
I like the look of the tall tables, especially since you don't see them too often.
I like tall table too (even though I'm short). They are just more comfortable, I think!
I'm short so don't really need a bunch of leg room! Plus it's so windy where I live now that the tall table would probably tip over. But I love eating outside in the spring and summer!
