Japanese Garden Path over Foot bridge

Beautiful English and Japanese Garden Paths

A garden path should invite you into the garden. Curving paths with somewhat hidden destinations create interest. View beautiful Lavender garden paths from England to enchanting Japanese paths, including a serene Pond path. There are curving pathways such as a Wood path bordered by creeping Pink Phlox and Pebble Mosaic paths including Rock and Stone. Enjoy your visit through these enchanting garden pathways.

Wood Path bordered by Bright Flowers

This wood path is ideal for a cottage or a rustic home. The natural and subdued wood is contrasted nicely with bright and creeping pink phlox that creates a vibrant border along a narrow wood pathway. The Phlox blooms for six weeks in the Spring and is a cheerful reminder that the fair weather has finally arrived. It also enjoys stones that grow warm from the Sun and climbs over them nicely.

These are absolutely GORGEOUS! :) My husband and I are very fond of the paths that he has cut in our field (with the lawnmower) that meander about to our various apple trees. It isn't as lovely as the paths you have featured here (all of which I would love in our yard), but it's still very meditative to walk them. You've offered some wonderful ideas here. :)

You've totally inspired me. As soon as the snow is out of the woods, I'm going to make a winding path through a little strip of woods I have where the sun dapples in through the birch and maple leaves. It's lovely already, but could be spectacular with just a bit of landscaping.
