History of cookie jars

Cookie jars date back as far as the late 1920's and early 1930's and first appeared in Ohio. They were used to hold biscuits in England and cookies and sometimes where used for other items like money, dog treats or candy.

      I have a vintage cookie jar, it is pig, that belonged to my grandmother. I don't know if it is worth anything or not. Never checked but I like looking at others.
