Ideas for How to Use Broken Dishes
You broke another plate or maybe one of your darlings broke a dish. Well, fear not! Here's what to do with broken plates and cracked dishes.
The obvious answer is to go ahead and smash those cracked and broken dishes into even smaller pieces to use for mosaics. That's a great option. But there are other ways to put those broken dishes to use.
For instance, I use this vintage cup (with a broken or missing handle) to hold baking soda in the fridge. I think it's much prettier than sticking the box in there.

Beautiful Saucers for the Wall
Display Plates That Only Have a Small Nick or Hairline Crack
If you have a pretty plate or saucer that only has a nick or hairline crack, you might want to display it on the wall.
If it's not safe to use to eat from, it can still adorn your wall or shelf and be a lovely addition to your home décor.
I love a grouping or cluster of plates on the wall. They're the perfect accent for any room!

If a plate or dish has a crack and isn't safe to use
for food, think of how else it can be used.
I use the vintage platter (shown below)
on my kitchen counter to hold
the dish soap, stopper, and scratchy pad.
