Pop Your Popcorn In A Whirley Pop Popcorn Maker!

I remember fondly the years when my aunt came for a visit and popped popcorn on the stove...and all over the kitchen. It was so exciting to hear those kernals popping, to see a few escaping and to know that the popcorn would be ready soon.

In all honestly, I don't remember what that popcorn TASTED like but I am anxious to share the experience of popping popcorn on top of the stove with my children AND to stop feeding them microwave popcorn, which is full of additives and which does not taste the same as homemade popcorn.

On this page you will find plenty of information about the Whirley Pop Popcorn Maker including a very helpful video straight from Wabash Farms (where the Whirley Pop was developed) which includes plenty of information on why and how to use the Whirley Pop. You will also find more information and some great reviews.

Details About The Whirley-Pop Popcorn Maker

Want movie-style popcorn at home? That is exactly what the Whirley Pop popcorn maker promises. Big and plump kernals of freshly popped popcorn. It pops about six quarts of popcorn in three minutes using a patented hand-crank stirring system, which is guaranteed for 25 years. Kernals are is cooked in bit of oil and kept from sticking and burning by the use of a stirring mechanism. Clean up is easy as it is recommended that you simply wipe it out with a paper towel. The result is fresh popcorn as good as or better than movie theatre popcorn. (I don't know about yours but my local movie theatres make pretty awful popcorn.)

Amazon Customer Reviews of The Whirley-Pop Popcorn Maker

"I've been using my Whirley Pop for three years now. I eat a lot of popcorn and I've tried every method known to man for making it. This device wins the prize. It makes a full pot of fluffy, crisp corn using a minimum of oil, leaving essentially no unpopped kernels." ~ R. Clark

"Honestly, I am very surprised at this machine. It does exactly what it says it will do. It cooks popcorn in literally three minutes, all the popcorn cooks and I usually don't have a single kernel left, clean-up is fairly easy and the popcorn tastes great..." ~ Elvis33

"Almost every kernel pops every time. Sometimes they ALL pop. And no burnt kernels!" ~ Kimberley Sciabica

"Crisp, tender, flavorful popcorn is what you'll get every time from this wonderful popper. Not only does it make the best popcorn, it is nearly foolproof and quick." ~ Robert Altomare

I make it in a pan with a lid. The nice thing about making real popcorn at home is that you can put real butter on it if you like. No chemicals like in theater popcorn or microwave popcorn. The Whirly Pop looks great. I think I'd like one!

Out of laziness, we've reverted back to storebought microwave popcorn packets. Like you, we definitely need to correct that bad habit with a "real" popcorn popper like this one. (This lens is now featured on my Popcorn Popper Reviews lens, and I thank you for featuring that page here!)
