Chasing a Dying beam of Hope

Updated on January 1, 2009

Deception and manipulation come in piles

Yet, now i can read through your lies

How can you look at us with those monstrous eyes

And expect us to sleep after discovering your lies

i'm free now for your crocodile tears

Will no more get me begging on my knees

Always searching for some one to blame

Isn't revenging from your family so lame

I have learned the hard way

In order to survive and stay

In a world formed of deception

Forged out of pain and manipulation

Oh! Can't you see beyond your needs?

While i drown in my own bloody tears!

Then, why can't you look me in the eye

And watch the light die (sigh)

Once my hard to pain was prone

And now thanks to you it is hard as stone :(

Nope this is not the "hopeful" poem... must be the newer one.  Anyways, this is nice despite the dark tone (again!) LOL But who knows, if you keep on exorcising your demons like this, everything will be brighter in the end :D
