L-O-V-E, The Four Letters that Make a Powerful Word

L-O-V-E

Four letters that make one powerful, sometimes misunderstood word.

What is love? Well, I could answer this in many ways, but I did a

little research and found quotes from various people that I thought

were very powerful. I thought I would share some of them with you.

And then we willl go to the rest of the story.

"We love because it's the only true adventure." - Nikki Giovanni

"Love is like quicksilver in the hand."-Author unknown

"Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it." - Robert Mitchum

And my favorite:

"Love is like a violin. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever." - unknown

The Bond of Love

This video shows the true bond between two little identical twin sisters, taken at their quietest time. Mommy snuck in while they were fast asleep. Look at the bond that they share after leaving the womb in their most intimate time, UNBREAKABLE, I would say, wouldn't you? Which one is which, I can't tell them apart. But the bond is just too special!!

Now The Rest of The Story

Love is definately strange. This is a story of two sisters and their daughters.

The younger sister, being me, I have a daughter that was 25 years old at the time this story begans. She and her husband had just had their first child, a bouncing baby boy in Augustof 2004. Well you guessed it and there was love in the air to early. So off to thedoctor to see what was in store for them. My daughter called me with a very quiet, soft voice imediately after leaving the doctors office to inform Grandma that she was having twins. I told her she was full of it. There was no way, I had always told her as she was growing up that someday she would have identical twin girls that were going to be just as onry as her and she would be getting double the trouble. My heart sank. She began to cry, so my words were coming true. She said that I had jinxed her.

Her husband was sitting in the pickup outside the doctors office with their new baby boy that was just 2 months old at the time. So he proceded to ask her what the doctor said. She quietly handed him the ultra sound pictures, one said Baby A and the other Baby B. He had no idea what was going on. He asked why two pictures and she replied twins. He also did not believe her. Poor kids, a two month old baby and two more on the way. How could this happen.

Well the blow of the news grew into excitement. Eventually by ultrasounds, we found out that they were going to be girls, Grandmas words were coming true. Well, the months went by and both Grandmas were getting things ready, bedroom, matching baby beds, clothes, you name it, we had it all ready by the timethe girls arrived. The doctor took them a month early. They were the mostbeautiful, dark haired identical twin girls, Haley Jane and Hanna Olivia. They were the most precious things that any of us have ever laid our eyes on. We had to buy them little ankle bracelets before they left thehosital so we could tell them apart. That has gotten much easier, but there are still days that I get them mixed up and so do Mom and Dad.

Well then comes sister number two, she called me to tell me that her newly married daughter just came from the doctors office and she too is expecting twins. What are the chances of this happening. Two sets of Twins and later reveiled also in an ultrasound, girls too. What are the odds of two set of twin girls in one family.

Well the time is getting closer for the delivery of my neices babies. The phone call came yesterday around noon and they were on their way to the hospital. Mind you, the poor thing is by herself. her husband is an over the road trucker and is headed home as I type. Her Mother is on her way traveling from Denver, CO to Salt Lake City, UT. Talk about bad luck, as she was headed out of town, her car decided to act up so she had to head to the airport to rent a car. Iti s an 8 hour drive so she was determined to make it there last night by 9:00. Her son is traveling with her, and she was beganing to develop a headache. He offered her to get a tylenol out of his backpack. Well, she took the wrong ones, ended up being his sleeping pills, He is by-polar so they are extra strong. Well you can guess what happened. They took her out. They had to stop and get a room for the night. They son carried her into the room and got her to bed, called the doctor and he said that she would be fine.

Next to add to the misfortune, the son grabbed her debit card and went next door to grab some munchies. He laid the card next to her purse and proceded out to have a smoke. When he came back in, he found the dog eating the card. Now, here they are sitting in a hotel room with my sister unable to move, the dog ate the card so they have no money and I forgot to mention that they are in the middle of a snow storm. All roads are closed and they do not know when they will get to procede on this trip from hell.

Well it is now Febuary 14, 2008, my sister is stuck waiting for the snow plows to open the roads, waiting impatientely so hopefully she can make it in time for the delivery. Just think how wonderful, twin girls on Valentines Day. The doctors are trying to keep her from having them until someone arrives to celebrate this wonderful miracle of life. I will post the rest of the story as the announcement comes in, I am sitting patiently by my phone waiting for the call.

LOVE IS DEFINATLEY THE NAME OF THIS CRAZY GAME, WHAT A RIDE LIFE CAN BE, BUT EVERYDAY IS FILLED WITH LOVE THAT KEEPS THIS WORLD SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL LIKE THAT FOUR LETTER WORD, LOVE. IT ALL MAKES IT WORTH THE MIRACLES THAT HAPPEN TO EACH OF US EVERYDAY. SMILE, LIFE LIVE TO THE FULLEST, AND REMEMBER THAT SOME ONE OUT THERE MAKES OUR LIFES COMPLETE, LOVE THE NAME OF THE GAME.

The Babies Arrived

Finally after the wait, the girls were born finally on Feurary 19. The are both doing fine and will be headed home sometime next week. Names:
