There aren't hardly any differences from being a young female in the cilivian world then in the army. I'm still faced with challenges, perves, competitions, and many other struggles that I'm sure I would face any where I go. Of course I can handlle the things that I get told to do. I will say that females have a advantage some of the time depending on who is around. Females do get treated a little more fairly then male soldiers. Like females, if they don't want to deploy...all they have to do is get pregnant. I think thats horrible that soldiers do that but it happens all the time. If women are going to join the armed forces at anytime especially during war, they need to be prepared for the day that the BN CDR says they are deploying. Also in BCT(Basic Combat Training) the females have it pretty easy too. Well I'm sure that would depend on where that female soldier goes to BCT. But females have a way of getting what they want and that doesn't always change once they enlist into the armed forces. I feel as if women are over looked for promotions if there is a male who is as equally qualified for the position. The male will more then likely get it. But its my opinion. It's not any different being in the army and being a young female then it is being in the civilian world. I hope I answered your question. I'm kinda new so give me advice on what I can do to help my writing or anything really. Thanks really appreciate the question and the future advice I may recieve.
