The first thing I would do is get on a budget that works. Month to month get on paper what you are going to spend down to $0 and then make all your money do something. After you do this you can deal with specific areas where you can cut spending.
You cannot know where to cut if you do not know what you are spending first. We thought we were doing good spending over $200 on groceries, plus we were eating out AND picking up extra food week to week. Now, we only spend about $150 on groceries, only eat out when we have the money budgeted, and avoid extra spending by using cash only.
