Great question Julie-Ann. In my opinion MBA "programs" are becoming easier to get in to, but a MBA is not necessarily easier to obtain. With unlimited access to non-traditional programs (online MBAs), many students have the opportunity to earn a MBA. This however, does not necessarily mean the programs are "easy," as my MBA was from a traditional AACSB program, I am not sure what is required for non traditional programs.
I think the appearance that MBAs are too easy to get comes from our constant exposure to opportunities to "Get you MBA online in just [insert low number of months]" I would venture to say the curriculum in most online course is rather tough and requires a balance of quantitative and qualitative skills.
To summarize, I feel MBA programs are easier to get into, but MBA are not necessarily easier to get.
