Thank you for asking that question. When I was a younger I was so into women's rights, that women could do anything men could do, and that the gender roles did not apply. I even kept my maiden name when I married years ago. Yes, I believe women can make as much money as men and be just as powerful, but it’s not wrong for a woman to just be a house wife and take care of the kids either. I think women have a lot of roles: the mother, the wife, the friend, the lover, the homemaker, the list is endless. I was such a feminist that I actually had resentment towards men. It caused problems in my relationship and over the years I’ve grown up, matured, and realized that times have changed—the gender roles have changed. Though I think feminism is important, I don’t need to be a feminist today. I hope this answered your question.
