Deciding to homeschool is a big decision. Three main points to consider are:
1. Cost: will you use a public charter school, a private school or develop your own curriculum. Each of these options have a cost associated with them. So you have to decide if you want to pay for the education and if so how much are you will to pay.
2. Quality: look at each school and evaluate the quality of the curriculum. Are they using certified teachers, what is the student to teacher ratio, who designed the curriculum and how is it delivered. By assessing each school you will have an idea of how each school ranks as far as quality.
3. Accreditation: this is probably one of the most important things you can find out about. Accreditation allows the diploma to be used at other schools and colleges. Find out if each school is accredited and who accredited it. If the school is not accredited then stay away.
