Kid Concoctions:

Homemade Finger Paint Ingredients: ½ cup cornstarch 3 tablespoons sugar ½ teaspoon salt 2 cups cold water Directions: Mix ingredients in pan. Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes until mixture is thick and smooth. Stir while cooking; let cool after thickening. Add food coloring as desired. Cover tightly and store. Gift Tip - Wrap up along with a tablet or roll of blank paper for painting on

Tub Paint Mix together: 1/3 cup clear dish detergent 1 tablespoon corn starch Food coloring Put into containers with paint-brushes for the kids to enjoy painting on tub walls. Gift Tip - wrap up along with sea creature shaped sponges (you can cut these out yourself from “magic sponges” - the kind that are flat like cardboard and puff out when they get wet.)

No-Cook Play Dough (for each color…) Mix together dry ingredients: 1 cup flour ½ cup salt 1 tablespoon cream of tartar Mix with Wet Ingredients: 1 cup boiling water 1½ teaspoon vegetable oil Few drops food coloring until desired tint is reached.
