The internet is even better for this too.

Glad you liked this hub, Home Bargains is the best price for Sawdust as the same size pack in Pets and Home and most pet shops is at least 3 times as much! It's surprising what you can find!

If I had a need for some sawdust I'd definitely take a trip to Home Bargains! Seriously it's good to know that there are so many things you can get for a pound. I often shop at Aldi; Got some shoes there the other day in fact. Voted up and shared

Exactly! They can be great for picking up branded bargains, and it does make you wonder about supermarket mark ups

I am a complete convert to our local 99p shop - I can't resist it every time I go to our local shopping centre. There are always food bargains of branded foods, like Heinz, Shipphams, Sharwoods and Campbells, and well-known makes of toileteries, medicines and sweets - these are not things that have reached their sell-by dates, just ordinary products. It does beg the question about how much profit the more expensive shops must be making, doesn't it?

      What a fun hub.

I just checked and the pound = $1.58 in US. In California anything you buy will cost you 10 cents more after taxes. Our area the sales tax is just shy of 10%.

The Dollar Store here is a good place for bargains.

Voted up and funny and useful.
