A List Of Items I Would Buy If I Won The Lottery

The possibility of winning the lottery is slim to none, but it is always fun to think about what you would purchase. I have thought this through and was smart about it. Many people are not smart with money especially if they have a lot of it. I would like to share with you what I came up with.

1. Family & Close Friends

The first thing I would do is make sure my family and close friends are ok. I would make sure they wouldn't need help for any medical bills or anything else. I wouldn't give them too much but just enough to make sure they are back on their feet. It's good karma and maybe they will help you out and return the favor one day?

2. Significant Other

I always told him that if I won, I would split the money with him. We always talked about what we would do with the money and be smart with it. He has helped me out in so many ways so why not return the favor?

3. Buy A Home

The third thing I would do, is buy a home. Probably a decent size house but not too big. I would pay it off and also pay some bills off for a few years. The electric bill is probably going to be expensive so why not pay it off for awhile? I would also purchase everything for the home and inside the home like home insurance and taxes of course.

4. Car

I would definitely find a reliable car and pay it off. I would also get insurance and pay that off for awhile as well. Everyone who knows me personally, I do not drive. I haven't drove a car in years, but if I found the right vehicle, I would learn. I guess I just never had the chance to keep practicing driving.

5. Own A Business

I don't know what business I would own, but I would make sure I would earn some profit back of the money that I already spent. You can't spend more than what you make or else you will end up filing bankruptcy. Honestly, I would probably own a casino or something similar.

6. Unknown

I should have put this as #1 but if I win, I would make sure my name wasn't known. I would hide it, because what if someone tried to rob you or possibly kill you for your money? Along with this idea, I'd probably store some money in cash in a place that was only known by me and probably not inside my house.

7. College

I always wanted to go to college to become a writer or a photographer. I would probably end up going and try to find a job that I enjoy. There wouldn't be no student loans or anything. It would be payed off.

8. The Rest Of It

The rest of the money, I would stash away and save it. Depending on how much I had left, I'd make sure I had enough for a long time. I don't have no children currently, but if I did one day, that money would come in handy.
