Updated on May 25, 2017

If you enjoy saving money, and stockpiling, you know that the key to doing this is finding great deals on items you need and buying enough to last until the next sale. For many people it is difficult to figure out when these sales will happen so you can plan accordingly.

Buying without a plan is probably costing you a lot of money so here is the plan. This is a handy month by month guide of when items will typically be at their lowest prices so you can save money and start or build that stockpile.

Most people know that early January is a fantastic time to grab up those holiday clearance items with sale prices from 50-75% off and even up to 90% off as well. You can stock up on wrapping paper, decorations, candy and food gift items.

January is also one of the best times to buy fresh blueberries, often as low as $1-2, since it is summer in South America. You can stock up on these and freeze for use all year! (check out my hub on freezing items to stockpile).
