Do You Really Get Paid on Bubblews? My Personal Results
Heard of Bubblews?
Talk about Bubblews is bubbling around all over HubPages these days, it seems. It seems to be the hot topic on other writing sites, such as Squidoo and Helium, too, from what I've been reading. At any rate, Bubblews is hot right now.
Bubblews is known for promoting short posts (minimum of 400 characters, not words), and writers can reach the $25 quickly the more they write, interact, and make connections with other bubblers.
So what about the rumors of bubblers not getting paid? That's enough to make one wary enough to stay far away from the Bubblews site.

Trying Out Bubblews
So I gave Bubblews a try.To me, it was refreshing--bubblicious I would say. Short posts that didn't require research, numerous photos, videos, tables, polls, or quizzes--very nice. I began to feel creative and enjoy writing again. It's a challenge in itself to make a short post that says something, but I enjoy it. Of course, there are the fluffy posts there about what people had for breakfast or a post to say goodnight, but I'm even okay with them if they have a point to them. I may have written some semi-fluff myself.
Bubblews is a different kind of site, and that's okay with me. As long as Bubblews profits, and the bubblers, profit, too--that's a win-win situation.

My First Payout on Bubblews
After I joined, I bubbled every now and then during the day. I usually wrote a post or two, no more than three per day. I read more than I wrote, but the posts were short, so I would read ten to twenty per day, depending on my schedule. I would also make quite a few connections (like followers on HubPages) every day.
After ten days, I reached the coveted $25.00. I clicked the big green "redeem" button. That was a good feeling, but would I get paid--and in a timely manner? I was anxious, wanting my first payout to go smoothly.
Two days later, on a Sunday--go figure, I received an email that my redemption would be coming in three to four days. Cool! Did it happen? It sure did. My first redemption was smooth as silk as my $25.09 (I guess it bumped up a little before I clicked) appeared in my Paypal account on Wednesday. Woo hoo! I had been redeemed!
My Thoughts on Bubblews
For now, I'm enjoying hanging out some over at Bubblews. I can use the quick money--as long as it doesn't take too much of my time. I have to fight the potential addiction, as I still have to make a living doing other things. Man (or woman!) cannot live by Bubblews alone. It would be fun, though.
Fun. Yeah, I'm having fun, and I'm also making some cool connections with new folks as well as reconnections with fellow hubbers
Since I reached my first $25 just six days ago, I have built back up to nearly $20. I have written only twelve posts as opposed to twenty for my first payout, and I expect I'll hit $25 in the next day or so. My bank seems to be building faster with fewer posts. That's good news to me, as sometimes the pace is too fast for me, but I just do the best I can.
There is of course a lot of fast money with continual writing and interaction, but I think that Bubblews has potential for more long-term benefits. Passive income can be built, too, as connections are built and more bubblers are reading one's work. Plus, I have done a few searches for my posts and was surprised to find certain ones on the second page of Google. One was on the first page when I entered almost the exact title!
The daily creative writing bursts I enjoy, as I do reading other posts and interacting with folks. However, as a freelance writer, I'm definitely interested in the earnings, too. And I think Bubblews has lots of potential if their bubble doesn't burst.
