Dunkin Donuts Refills
If you're a coffee addict such as myself, you've probably done the math on what you spend each year. If you haven't, you might want to get yourself a cup of coffee before you read on, because it's about to get depressing.
If you have 1 large coffee a day:
$2.47 X 365 = $901.55 per year
If you have 2 coffee drinkers in your household:
$901.55 X 2 = $1803.10 per year, that's $150 per month fueling your caffeine habit.
But what if you could save money by doing one simple thing, would you do it?
The answer: Bring your own cup!
Next time you're in Dunkin, ask if they offer special prices if you bring a refill cup. My Dunkin Donuts charges $1.47 for a refill, that's a dollar savings each day, or $365 per year.
With that two coffee drinker household, your monthly Dunkin Donuts expense is cut from $150 per month to just $89!
The extremely frugal personality that resides in my head has to point out that the way to save even more money would be, of course, to brew your own coffee at home. However, time-wise and taste-wise, this may not suit everyone's needs and I 100% acknowledge that :)
I've experimented with all the reasons why Dunkin coffee just tastes better to me, such as brew temperature, grind size, quality of beans, and just enjoying the ritual, but I'll save the rest of my Dunkin Donuts ramblings for another day XD
Have a great day everyone!!
