If you are a dog lover, and looking to make some money, there are some excellent ways for you to make some extra cash. Depending on the time available to you, and your passion, the availability of space and finance, you can take up any of the following or combine a couple.

Become a dog breeder : If you have large space or a farm, you can take a loanto become a dog breeder. You will enjoy the company of many dogs and their puppies. It will be fulfilling to place good dogs in loving homes. You may opt to stick to one particular breed of dogs.

Open a pet store : Having a pet store will give you immense pleasure as you help your animals, including dogs find loving homes. You can also sell pet related products such as dog food, collars, leashes, dog bowls, dog shampoos, brushes, toys, etc.

Design pet clothes : Dog lovers love to dress their pets for their pleasure. You can design and manufacture clothes according to breeds.

Have kennels for rent : Owners who wish to travel and need to leave their dogs where they will be properly cared for until they get back will find this particularly useful. You can charge on per day basis with food according to the types of pet dog.

Train dogs for therapeutic purposes : Dogs that offer companionship to the blind, the elderly and the autistic child are in great demand and one can open a training facility for such dogs.

Using your resources to the maximum, one can turn passion into income generation. In this case, you will find it extremely rewarding since you will be surrounded by dogs you love all day and will have the pleasure of seeing them find loving owners who can be guided to look after them as family pets.

      Enjoyed this hub. A friend of mine trains therapy dogs, and has a few that accompany her when she does volunteer work for the Red Cross. They are wonderful, beautiful dogs.
