How This Frustrated Hubber bought a Turn Key Website and Started Making Hundreds of Dollars Through Adsense

Updated on February 11, 2010

Hi All, as some of you have probably experienced the adsense returns from hubpages can be a little slow. Here is an account of my experiences with hub pages so far to give you an idea about how my frustration started.

So through frustration I started to research other ways to make money through adsense. I decided I would get a turn key website. For those of you who aren't familiar with this term it is essentially a website which has already been built. You just need to set up your adsense number in the appropriate areas and you receive the revenue from this already existing site.

However the main concern about running a website is how do you keep the content fresh so that users return on a daily/weekly basis. Better yet how do you keep fresh content without updating it yourself.

Here is how I did it

I went with a Youtube affiliate turn key website which costs me $20.00 a month everything in. Domain Name, Hosting and of course the website. What the website does is run a search of my choosing through youtube and displays a list of videos every time someone visits the website. So it appears to visitors as though there is new daily content on my website. This creates incentive for people to re-visit my site on a daily basis. This is my website

But I am not that technical you say? Not a problem here is what the Admin Console looks like. Here you can edit your search which populates the data (videos) on the website to anything you like, as well it allows you to configure video play settings.

You can set up your google banner ads by selecting the banners link. Just go to Adsense, generate your desired size Adsense banners then literally cut and paste the code into here. That is all you need to do.

After you set everything up with your website submit your site to as many search engines as posssible. There are sites out there that will submit your site to 30 plus search engines for you for free of charge so try to track those down as well. Also submit your new website to sites like Digg, Reddit etc. You can even promote your site through facebook and twitter as well.

As soon as I got everything up and running the first month I made $60.00 the next $110.00 and am now at the point where I am making over $200.00 a month.  My next step is to clone this website and focus it on different topics such as bartending, fitness etc. and watch the cash come in.  Hope this helps/inspires you and if you have any questions at all please feel free to leave me a comment.

Brilliant idea. Thank you. If I ever have cash to spare I will give it a bash.
