How to Buy from "US Only" Online Retailers Internationally

Updated on July 19, 2015

Have you've ever heard about Walmart. It's a very popular store in the US which also does deliveries. Compared to Walmart, my local online retailer called Lazada seems like an ant. Sadly, they don't offer international shipping. This is very sad, especially for gamers since console games are very cheap in the US. Luckily, there is a way to bypass this. This method can also be used to buy items from different countries, but remember to always check with the retailer if they offer international shipping.

The method that we're going to discuss will involve renting a US mailing address. Don't worry, it's totally safe because it's from a company, not from an individual. These companies actually have a name, they're called mail forwarders. There are many mail forwarder, so remember to pick a reliable and trustworthy one. I would highly recommend choosing BedaBox as they have a good reputation. They're also very affordable.

Ordering is very simple, if you've ever shopped online. Just enter the name you've registered with your mail forwarder, so that they don't get confused and enter the address given by the forwarder. Make sure that the address is of a company or warehouse. If it's an address of a person, it's probably a scam. Some forwarders will ask for verification to confirm that you're the owner of the package. Just forward them the email receipt or give the package serial number. I would also like to inform that BedaBox may only offer premium delivery carriers such as UPS and FedEx. There is an economical alternative called Shipito, but they have a bad reputation. They do offer carriers, which are priced starting from $3, but their service is lousy. Rest assure, you will receive your package eventually. Simply put it, the more you pay, the faster you will receive. If you're planning on using premium carriers, go with BedaBox as they're more reliable.

Conclusion

Remember that there are mail forwarders for other countries, but pricing and reliability will vary. While the US may offer cheaper video games, Malaysia offers cheaper video game consoles and other electronics. Amazon may offer international shipping, but it's limited to some items. You can also find shipping rates priced below amazon's. Just a reminder, if you already have an Amazon account, you can create another delivery address. Stores I would recommend would be Bestbuy, Amazon, Walmart and Ebay. Gamestop is great for gamers. I'll leave a link for the review for both sites below. Thank you for reading and happy shopping.
