Be a coupon clipper to save on your groceries

A tv show about couponing? Ever since the financial crisis clipping coupons has become a big craze. So if you have decided you are ready to become coupon clipping guru, read on to learn how to save big money on your next grocery bill.

The first step to couponing involves signing up for local grocery store earnings programs and find out which stores in the area double coupons. Some stores have discontiued this service due to the couponing craze so check around. Local blogs and coupon websites may offer insight into the stores in your area.

Subscribe to your Sunday paper or find out if you can pick up one for free at local clinics or other businesses. You dont necessarily need the coupons on Sunday or Wednesday when they come out so if you can get the inserts for free it works out even better.

Don't buy just because you have a coupon. Be sure to buy the items you use. Buying things you dont need is wasteful unless you intend to donate it.

Plan your shopping trips to maximize your time and the coupon savings in association with local store coupons.

Don't forget to keep those coupons from the checkers. There might be something you can use.

Good luck and get clipping.
