How to live like a multi- millionaire on the minimum wage

Updated on May 21, 2012

Greed is Good

Many books have been written about how to become a millionaire. Very often they tap into the secret personal traits you need to acquire to reach these heady heights. Well guess what: they are all trying to prevent you from finding out the real secrets. After a careful study of a wide range of multi - millionaires, I can finally reveal the real personal traits you must adopt. So, you too can live like a multi - millionaire. Yes, even if you are on the minimum wage. Remember this information is based wholly on real case histories of multi-millionaires. You may even recognise some of these super rich dudes.

1. Always remember that "greed is good". That "eye of the camel bible nonsense " is for suckers.

The meek are never gonna inherit the earth. They will remain dirt.

2 Treat all others as your inferiors. Think like an egomaniac.

3 Surround yourself with a*** lickers to make you feel superior.

4 Develop poisonous relationships with family and friends.

Think of them as blood suckers.

5. Look to receive presents and free gifts. Do not give out presents. Think like scrooge.

Only get involved with charities if you can make a profit.

6.Try to spend as little of your own money as possible. It's fine to spend other peoples money.

7 Haggle over every financial transaction until your adversary caves in.

8 Sink to the lowest level of depravity.

9 If you are an older woman , get yourself a toyboy.

10 If you are an older man get yourself a trophy girlfriend or wife.

11 Do not under any circumstance develop a conscience.

12 Try to join secret societies that involve dressing up , or even better, go in for weird ritualistic practices.

Now, I am not suggesting that every multi - millionaire has followed this blueprint. Some are much more ruthless , whilst others have led exemplary lives. Nevertheless, this scientific study has uncovered a lifestyle enjoyed by many infamous multi- millionaires. Do you still want to live this way? Cos you certainly can, even on the minimum wage.

Don't forget that you can also choose to be a recluse. This is the lifestyle choice of many a multi - millionaire.

Please feel free to add to this list if you have discovered other millionaire secrets.

You have made an excellent point. Everyone has the ability to be a greedy jerk. On the flip side, one of my favorite quotes is: "the richest person in the world is the one with the fewest felt or imaginary needs." In other words, he who is the most content is the wealthiest of all people.

Love that quote ecog. Might add that to this very rough draft of a hub. Thanks for your input.

Then there is always the tried and true: do something that is extremely useful for your community and society. Like invent Windows or something.

James, thanks for your input.Inventing stuff is certainly a genuine way to riches. It is the lifestyle choices you make that then determine how you live.

Whikat, you jumped the gun. First you make the money and only then do you choose to live as a recluse. Yours is simply a case of bad timing.

Well, you've ruined my day right proper. I always wanted to be a millionaire; you've just explained that I never will as I don't follow even one suggestion.

I am doomed, and it is all your fault. You could have snuck in at least a couple like helping people out, or being generous. But no, you've left me no hope at all of ever being rich. I am doomed.

I'm on my way! I've got number nine ticked (hubby is 12 yrs my junior). But I don't think the rest are going to happen before I turn 500.

I like living modestly and if I ever became rich by winning the Lotto, (which would be a miracle since I never enter), I would want to give most of it away to those less fortunate. I have one to add to your list though:

Convince the President or Prime Minister of your country to start a war in an oil rich country by pretending it is a world threat.

Ensure the Government hires private contracting firms to assist with the war effort and rebuilding. Ensure you own the firms first.

Voted up and interesting. Some very insightful info here. In fact a lot of people do live like millionaires (even though they aren't), they just didn't realize it. I think most people are focused on the 'stuff' millionaires have rather than their character traits and behaviors. Maybe people are so blinded by the glitter and gold that they do not see the bilge. ;)
