Best Credit Cards for my and your wallet

Nowadays, using credit card is very common thing in world especially in US. Most people have 2-3 credit cards in their wallet. I myself have 7 credit cards, though I only place 3 credit cards in my wallet. I always pay full my credit balance every month, thus I don’t have to pay any interest on my credit balance. Also, I usually use credit card gives cash back (1%-5%).

What credit card is good for me?

The following are my top 3 cards to earn Reward Points or Cash Back:

  • 2% cash back on everything

The Fidelity Reward American Express Card provides 2% flat cash back to virtually any Fidelity account. You may need to sign up for fidelity account to redeem the reward point. I primary use this card for my everyday purchase. It is very easy to transfer point from the reward website to fidelity account. You don’t have to have any brokerage account with Fidelity. No annual fees.

If you prefer not to open any brokerage account, you can just open Fidelity mySmart Cash Account which is their interest checking account. Also, there is no daily limit on this account. You can use it as the checking account. Fidelity mySmart Cash Account comes with checking book and debit card.

  • 5% cashback bonus on various categories

The Discover More card offers 5% cashback bonus on various categories. From July till September, it offers 5% cashback bonus on gas, hotels, movies, and theme parks. On September, 5% cashback bonus on groceries/ drug stores. From October till December, it offers 5% cashback bonus on restaurants & department stores. No annual fees.

  • 5% casback on gas

The PenFed Visa Platinum Cashback Rewards Card offers 5% cash back on gas, 2% on supermarket and 1% for everything else. Cash Rewards credited each month. Up to $50,000 limit. No Annual Fee

  • Free $150 Gift cards after spending $1000 for first 3 month

The American Express Premier Reward Gold Card offers 15,000 reward points after $1000 purchase within first 3 months. These points also can be converted to many airline frequent flyer miles (or 10 Southwest credits). Or you can choose various $150 gift cards at several stores such as Macy’s, Home Depot, etc. Additional 15,000 rewards points can be earned after spending $30,000 in a year. The reward structure is as follows 3x points on airfare, 2x points on gas & groceries, and 1x points on everything else. No annual fee for your 1st year.   • Free $250 cash after spending $3000 for first 3 months

      but i still dont like credit card interest - so high

      and i use my credit card only for emergency .
