Interview With A Real Estate Student

Updated on August 04, 2009

Doing Real Estate The Right Way

I’m a real estate investor working my own business and a mentor for the Real Estate Profit Coach. I travel the country teaching at real estate educational seminars. I also work with our students on-site and assist them in building their real estate business.

I am having a live teleconference tonight with of my successful students: George and Judy Staples of Waco, TX. Click here to register for this FREE training event!

I spent four days last year with George and Judy to get their Texas real estate business off the ground. I always start by establishing where they are now in their investment careers, and where they want to go. Goal setting is crucial.

George and Judy had 7 New York investment properties causing them pain. They wanted the properties sold so they could move on with their new life in Texas. We spent some time analyzing the properties, and decided to create a property package for an area investor. We posted two Craigslist ads: a higher purchase price for seller financing of all 7 properties, and a lower priced one for a cash offer. Not surprisingly, the owner financed package got the most hits. By the end of the four days we had a live buyer that George and Judy turned over to their New York lawyer to get the deal closed.

George and Judy puchased a property in the McLennan county foreclosure auctions. They will discuss their purchase of the property and the steps that have made them successful. Don't take my word: here the steps of success directly from an area investor!
