You have plenty of time usually in the summer to do these things for people. Most kids are already mowing their parents' lawn, so a couple neighbors would not be too bad, if you are getting paid.

2. Babysit for people. Depending on how old you are, there are lots of younger kids in the neighborhood you can babysit for money. Thousands of kids and teens make money doing this. Start with your younger siblings or close friends, to get some practice, make sure you are a good babysitter and move on to other people. Make sure to get the kids to bed on time and make sure the kids enjoy it, as they are the ones that matter. A great way to make money for kids.

3. Start a website to share your knowledge and ideas. There are a lot of sites that allow you to set up a free website or blog. Share your knowledge on a subject you know a lot about, then try adding adsense to it and make some money.

4. Save money! One of the best ways to make money for kids is to save your money. Make some money and then put all of it in your bank account. It can be a savings account, or a CD with better interest rates. If you are able to make $2000 from the above methods, gifts, and selling some of your old toys, then put it all in a CD. If you get a decent interest rate, it could be up to $2500 by the time you graduate high school or college.
