Trader affirmations: a video to help you improve your trading

Updated on July 11, 2015

One of the biggest issues facing any trader is their attitude and mindset. When money is at risk, a whole host of emotions wash over us, causing us to make the wrong decision even if our trading strategy is sound. Whether it's fear of loss, frustration of having just taken a loss, nervousness at having to risk money, being bored and taking wild punts to pass the time or lacking self-belief, any subconscious thoughts will affect your ability to trade profitably.

The above video contains affirmations designed to help you to follow your trading strategy and remain calm so that your emotions do not affect your decision-making and therefore your profitability.

With little discipline, which can be a result of your attitude and mindset, you know you do not stick to your plan. By watching this video and listening to the affirmations, hopefully you can overcome any psychological issues that are affecting your trading ability. So, whether you are trading currencies, stocks, options, indices or sports odds or playing poker, you should find this video useful in training your mind to stick to your rules which will result in long term profit.

Each affirmation is designed to focus on a different aspect of trading and risk taking. Even if right now you disagree with an affirmation, for example, that you are successful, you will feel more confident taking a trade.

The caveat is that you have a valid and profitable system...

On a practical level, you can listen to the affirmations daily while trading or doing other things.

Warning: Trading involves the risk of loss. Please consider carefully whether trading is appropriate to your financial situation. Only risk capital should be used when trading. You are at risk of losing more than your initial investment. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hi Thanks for the comment. I tried to set the volume such that it is just understandable so you don't really pay attention to it.

Thanks for the welcome and comment. I am not sure what else to write as it's more a video to watch and use. I guess I could expand on affirmation usage but it's all a bit general and waffly.

What would you like to know? :)
