Save Money With Procter and Gamble Online Coupons
I have always had a thing about picking up change from the ground. All of my close friends know this about me and accept it as one of my many funny quirks. I've often joked that someday I'd get rich from the change I find on the ground. While that hasn't happened yet (I'm ever-hopeful), I continue to do it, and one day not long ago, it paid off in an unexpected way.
I had just finished grocery shopping with my mum and we were waiting for the bus. I saw two pennies on the ground, so I picked them up and saw the other lady that was waiting with us eyeing me with a grin. She asked what they were and when I told her, my mum informed her of my change collecting habit. The woman said, "well, you know what they say, watch the pennies and the dollars take care of themselves." I had actually never heard that saying, but I realized it was very fitting, as I'm incredibly frugal and plan a monthly budget that I stick to pretty rigidly.
During the ride home on the bus, the woman told us about the amount of money she had saved that week on her grocery shopping and other purchases, and that she had done it all with free online coupons from Procter and Gamble. She told us that she went on their website, ordered coupons for everything from razors for her husband, to cleaning products for her home, to cosmetics for herself and her teenage daughter, to a variety of grocery items. She told us that she had been to WalMart a few days before and that with the coupons, she had paid half what her purchases were worth.
Since money is tight in our home, I decided it would be worth checking out. I went on the P&G website and got a variety of great money-saving coupons, which came very quickly in the mail, and which I used to save money on a bunch of stuff. Some of their most popular brands include Always, Bounce, Bounty, Cascade, Charmin, Cheer, Cover Girl, Crest, Dawn, Downy, Duracell, Febreeze, Gain, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Herbal Essences, Iams, Mach3, Metamucil, Mr. Clean, Olay, Old Spice, OralB, Pampers, Pantene, Pepto Bismol, Pringles, Secret, Scope, Swiffer, Tampex, Tide, and Venus.
They also offer free samples on products - I chose the new Pantene Pro-V Collections sample of shampoo and conditioner for my hair type, Crest White Strips, a sample of Scope mouth wash, and a sample of the new Pringles Stix. All four samples came with extra Procter and Gamble coupons included in the packages.
I decided that since this wonderful stranger helped me in a lovely, unexpected way, I would pay it forward and let others know about this. I told my sister-in-law (who, along with my brother has two young kids, and lives with extended family, bringing their household total to eight people, which equals a lot of shopping and grocery buying) about the P&G site, and she ordered coupons right away. I've told a few other friends too, and now I'm letting even more people know by writing this.
Unlike many company websites, there's not just an American Procter and Gamble site. When you go to the website, you can choose from almost 50 different countries with each country's native language(s). At the very bottom of the site, you'll find a link that says Product Coupons and Promotions. That's where you'll go to get coupons and order free samples if you're interested. I'd recommend taking a look at the entire site, as it's not just about products but also about the things that P&G does as a company. You can also sign up for their newsletter and stay informed about what's new with the company, including new products, new coupons and new offers.
If you're looking for ways to save money with coupons, Procter and Gamble is a great place to start. If you order coupons and find them useful, be sure to pass the information along to your friends - or even to strangers, like the woman who let me know!
