Thrift Shop Savings

Updated on May 19, 2014

Thrift Shop Findings

Thrift shops have been around for years, They are a place for people to donate there used clothing, shoes, and what ever else they had not much use for. The items, would be sold at reduced prices. I remember going to a thrift shop, many years ago, there was a sign in the window, that caught my eye! The sign read, "fill a bag, for $1.00' ! I, quickly entered the store, and filled a bag , with as much as I could for a dollar. I felt like I was at the right place at the right time. I chose items, that I liked. I , was very happy, that particular day with the sale, and my items. I remember a time I went to a different thrift shop, I started to browse, different items, when I came across an item in which I was interested in. The item was an 8 -track player, along with tapes. The price tag, read, .025. I could not believe this item was cheap! I purchased the item and took it home excited to try the item out! The 8-track player was quite popular in the era, I wanted one badly! I had hours of fun listening to my new find.
