Use of coupons

Updated on June 6, 2012

I know that when it comes to shopping we all like to find ways to save money. One of the ways that we all find ways to save money is by using coupons and who doesn't like to use coupons. I find myself cutting out coupons of things that I know I will be able to purchase or items that I know that I will buy.

Every Sunday I look forward to my family getting the newspaper because I can go straight to the coupons and know what I need to get on my next grocery trip. Living alone has really made me realize that it is important to spend less money on groceries and be smart about knowing what to buy and not buy. So that is why coupons really come in handy for me. Not only do food coupons come in handy but when it comes to going out to eat, those coupons that they send in the mail can really help, even though just looking at the coupons can really make one hungry as you keep looking at that certain coupon.

Even department stores offer coupons and that is what can really bring someone to wanting to go clothes or shoe shopping. I know my mom likes to go shopping when she has coupons, otherwise she kind of doesn't like to shop because sometimes the price isn't always the best when you can really use a coupon to help reduce of the price of the item that you are buying.

So coupons come in handy in many ways, not just in groceries or apparel or even in shoes. But how many times do you also get coupon from tire stores. Coupons can and have really helped people save money in many ways. How many of you like to use coupons? Well, if you have some scissors, go ahead and start cutting out those coupons, who knows what you may save on your next grocery trip.
